Matre

At the threshold between my Maiden and Mothering years, I journeyed from Australia to the U.S.A. A timely revelation to pursue an interest in adornment and creativity brought me to study Fashion Design and Marketing at the Parsons School of Design in New York. Afterwards I began a career as a Fashion Stylist, working at Vogue and Elle and later at I.D, Dazed and Confused, Another and 10 Magazine. Motherhood transformed me, bringing me into a deeper relationship with the gift of creation. The most magical collaboration I have contributed to in this lifetime is that of Rosie Red and Noon. In the process of nurturing two daughters, I have been inspired by the wisdom and teachings of Rudolf Steiner, his profound understanding of human development and appreciation of our connection to each other, to nature, and to the land.
