Sacred Feminine Shell Handle Number 2

This unique cupboard or small door handle features an Australian cowrie shell, mounted in a fine silver bezel on a sterling silver disc, attached to a machined brass mounting. Andrew Lindsay; Two Sticks Forge, chose to celebrate the beautiful random colours of the effect of heat and oxidisation, which occurs during soldering, rather than taking the silver to a polished finish - as evidence of the story of the making process.
